Output Signal
The A Qual B interface (TTL or differential TTL, D-TTL) is the most popular and simple linear scale / encoder signal interface for CNC machine or measuring instruments.
Advantage: Low cost; Very popular & simple.
Shortfall:
Only one direction signal possible.
No Error detection, very poor reliability.
Incremental signal only, no absolution reference.
Very difficult for high speed & high resolution.
